Retail Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Manages and trains staff

  • Oversees stock levels

  • Orders supplies

  • Ensures the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of the facility

  • Handles customer inquiries

  • Greets and advises customers

  • Problem solving

  • Ensures compliance with established food standards, food quality, preparation and company policies and operating procedures

  • Opens and closes the store following proper procedures

  • handles complex register transactions

  • manages inventory

Qualifications

  • Good leadership and training skills; ability to teach others as well as delegate tasks.

  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high pressure environment.

  • Minimum of 1 years of supervisory experience in front-of-house restaurant or foodservice position, in a high volume environment, required.

  • Must have weekend and evening availability

  • Excellent guest service, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Previous experience with a POS system specifically Toast is a plus

Job Type- Full Time

Pay- $15-$18 an hour plus tips and quarterly bonuses

Prep Chef

Job Description

  • Follow the prep list created by the kitchen team
  • Following a smoke schedule created by the kitchen team
  • Basic line work some days when the retail restaurant is in service
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they are organized and are easily accessible
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, trimming meats, making sauces, etc
  • Prepare simple dishes such as salads, sides, entrees, etc
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Early morning availability (shifts begin as early as 5:30 am)
  • Kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train motivated individuals)

Catering Staff / Grillmaster

Event Catering Staff consists mostly of working off site grilling, cooking, and serving for larger events. The benefit of being in a kitchen while also enjoying the outdoors. 

  • Cooking at social and corporate gatherings
  • Packing jobs throughout the week, which includes getting together equipment, getting together paper goods for the customers, and loading vans before leaving for the day
  • Driving to events
  • Setting up kitchen and grilling equipment as well as a buffet
  • Accurately cooking and producing sides and proteins
  • Above and beyond levels of customer service
  • Cleaning up the event, packing up the van, and saving the food for the customers to keep
  • Quick delivery catering events and expediting pick up catering too

Requirements:

  • Saturday availability
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work under pressure and can stay focused in busy times
  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment
  • Ability to stay focused without supervision
  • Kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not necessary

Smoker Attendant / Pitmaster

We are seeking a skilled, experienced chef to join our growing kitchen staff. In this position, you will assist the culinary team by operating up to 3 smokers.
